Welcome back to Vice City — bigger, bolder, and more dangerous than ever. This neon-drenched metropolis serves as the county seat of Vice-Dale County and the crown jewel of Leonida. From the glittering high-rises of Downtown to the gritty streets of Little Haiti, every block tells a story. Whether you're hitting up exclusive nightclubs, running jobs through the port, or just cruising Ocean Beach at sunset, Vice City delivers the ultimate urban playground.

The beating industrial heart of Kelly County's northwest corridor. Port Gellhorn is where legitimate commerce meets shadier enterprise — shipping containers stacked high, cranes working around the clock, and enough blind spots to make any smuggler smile. This Panama City-inspired port town offers lucrative opportunities for those willing to get their hands dirty. Control the docks, control the flow of goods in and out of Leonida.

Leonida's untamed northern wilderness. Mount Kalaga National Park offers dense forests, hiking trails, and hunting grounds teeming with wildlife — including bobcats, wild boars, and plenty of surprises. Whether you're camping under the stars, tracking game, or using the backcountry to shake a wanted level, this is where civilization ends and survival begins. Park rangers patrol the area, but there's plenty of space to operate undetected.

A string of sun-bleached islands connected by scenic bridges stretching into the turquoise waters. The Leonida Keys are where the wealthy come to play — and where deals go down far from prying eyes. Key Lento serves as the main hub, packed with luxury resorts, yacht clubs, and beachfront bars. Dive underwater to explore shipwrecks and coral reefs, or just soak in the views. Perfect for getaways, both legal and otherwise.

Miles of Everglades-style wetlands where airboats replace cars and alligators outnumber people. Grassrivers is Leonida's wild frontier — swamps, marshes, and winding waterways that swallow the unprepared whole. The perfect region for off-the-grid operations, airboat chases, and encounters with wildlife that bites back. Locals know every hidden channel; outsiders get lost. Watch where you step.

Don't let the postcard-perfect facade fool you. Ambrosia sits on the shores of Lake Leonida — the largest freshwater body in the entire state — and serves as a major hub in Ambrosia County. This laid-back town attracts tourists, retirees, and anyone looking to disappear for a while. Perfect spot to lay low after a big score, or scout the lake for smuggling routes.

Beyond the main regions, leaks and trailers have revealed several notable locations scattered across Leonida. Here's what we know — and what fans are expecting.
Iconic Vice City Nightclub
The legendary nightclub returns! Originally inspired by The Babylon Club from Scarface, the Malibu Club was Tommy Vercetti's most profitable asset in the original Vice City. Expect VIP lounges, rooftop pools, and backroom deals.
Mountain Settlement (Northwest)
A town spotted on Route 2 road signs near Bocamar Bridge. Yorktown appears to be the northernmost settlement in Leonida, nestled in mountainous terrain. Could serve as a quiet escape — or a hideout.
Dense Wilderness Area
A dense, remote forest in central Leonida. Known for wildlife, hidden trails, and reportedly a hotspot for illegal hunting operations. The perfect place to bury evidence — or bodies.
Restricted Military Installation
A GTA staple. While not officially shown, every mainline GTA has featured a military installation. Expect heavily guarded perimeters, jets, tanks, and an instant 5-star wanted level if you're caught trespassing.
State Landmark
Likely a monument honoring Juan Ponce de León, the Spanish conquistador Leonida is named after. Could be similar to the Statue of Happiness in Liberty City — a major landmark and potential mission location.
Georgia-Inspired (Future DLC?)
License plates from "Gloriana" spotted in Trailer 2 hint at a second state based on Georgia, bordering Leonida to the north. Insider reports suggest Rockstar plans to expand the map post-launch — this could be it.
Note: Some locations are based on leaked development footage and may change before the final release. Location names could be placeholders. We'll update this page as Rockstar reveals more official information.
A chronological look at the major GTA 6 map leaks that have shaped our understanding of Leonida. From the historic September 2022 hack to community-driven reconstructions.
September 18, 2022 • GTAForums
The biggest video game leak in history. A hacker named "teapotuberhacker" (later identified as 17-year-old Arion Kurtaj from the Lapsus$ group) posted over 90 files containing 50+ minutes of development footage.
The leak revealed Vice City's modern-day setting, the dual protagonist system (Lucia & Jason), and gave fans their first look at Leonida's sprawling map — including the diner robbery, strip club, and various neighborhoods.
Aftermath: Rockstar confirmed the leak was real. The hacker was later arrested and sentenced. Take-Two issued DMCA takedowns across the internet.
Credibility: Buildings matched Trailer 1 (released 2 days later), strongly suggesting authenticity.

Three days before Trailer 1. A TikTok user posted a shaky phone recording of a monitor showing a GTA 6 development build. The video captured the Stockyard area of Vice City in a 360-degree pan.
The source is believed to be connected to Aaron Garbut, Rockstar North's head of development. When Trailer 1 dropped 48 hours later, fans spotted the same buildings — confirming this was the real deal.

Claimed to be from Rockstar employee. Source said "trust me" when questioned.
Grainy images resembling Google Maps overlays. Suspected AI-generated.

Not everything is real. For every legitimate leak, dozens of fakes have surfaced. Common red flags include: maps with roads that abruptly end, grainy "Google Maps overlay" aesthetics, and sources who refuse verification.
The GTA community has become adept at spotting fakes. If no trusted insider confirms it, and the image looks like it could be AI-generated — it probably is.

Without Panhandle Region
Source: Reddit u/anli2132
Conservative Estimate
~206.8 km² vs 127 km²
Estimates vary based on methodology. DuPz0r's mapping project uses RAGE engine coordinates for scale accuracy. The "panhandle" region (northwest area) may or may not be in the final game.
GTA V
~31 mi²
RDR2
~30 mi²
GTA VI (Est.)
~48-80 mi²
Key difference: While GTA V and RDR2 are similar in raw size, GTA 6 is expected to have much higher density — more enterable buildings, populated urban areas, and interactive locations per square mile. Where RDR2 emphasized vast wilderness, GTA 6 aims for detail-packed environments.
Methodology: Size comparisons use DuPz0r's mapping project data, which extracts RAGE engine coordinates from leaked footage and official trailers to calculate scale. The GTA 5 map overlay technique matches known coordinate systems between games. Community analysis by Reddit users including u/anli2132 and u/LivingSignificant555.
